I got my disc in the mail today so i made a video yeh i know pointless but i was happy :)

Sigh.... /me thinks back to when I first got Ubuntu up and running on one of my machines. Yay!

Thing is....bet it is 32bit.
I asked for a 64bit and got 32bit. *sigh* Downloaded the 64 bit instead.....and iI raelly wanted an ORIGINAL CD. ah well.

Oh I am not complaining. I am extremely grateful for the free CD regardless and would still point ppl towards Ubuntu.:D

I love the free disc :) installed on a friends pc he saw the compiz and was like heall yeah i want linux and he fell in love wit it :)

Shipit are starting to limit the CDs they send out. Some people who've had a free CD for a previous version of Ubuntu find that they can't get one for the newer version. This is really bad for those people who have just dial-up or other slow connection, or people who don't have internet connection at all. See the sticky on this subject: here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1297163).
Canonical feel the free CDs should be for people who actually need it. It's a shame because now some people who need one can't get it.
