I was having some weird issues this morning, which I suspect may be hardware related.
The integrated NIC on my mobo stopped working at the same time as my usb mouce. My usb ports work if I use a usb drive, but my usb mice will not work. I've used two different ones, and neither work.
I'm not concerned with the NIC, I've already replaced it, but the mouse is cramping my style.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: This is NOT hardware related. I just booted with liveCD and everything works as expected. When I cat /dev/input/mice there is no input. I'm thinking possible module issues...
