Quick guess as to why your previous thread was removed: the forum COC discourages most political discussions.

It was moved because the thread was basically "doo dee doo <link> doo deee deeeeeeeee dooo" with nothing else. The lyrics are in spanish, anyways, so I doubt a mod objected to that.

Carcass used to be goregrind, which is a gorier version of grindcore. The founding members of Carcass used to be in Napalm Death, who popularized grindcore. Grindcore is a combination of extreme metal and hardcore punk.

Dying Fetus' old work could be considered goregrind (back when they wrote songs like "Kill Your Mother/Rape Your Dog"), and the newer just grindcore (starting when they went political). In fact, Dying Fetus' song "We Are Your Enemy" from their album "Killing on Adrenalin" was praised by Zack de la Rocha from Rage Against the Machine (RATM... haven't we seen that before? *looks at username*) and the lesser (IMO) Serj Tankian from System of a Down because of it's stance against the United States government.

EDIT: Oh, well Carcass' old work WAS goregrind, but "Keep on Rotting in the Free World" is melodic death metal. And really, Dying Fetus is brutal/technical death metal. :P
