I had installed Fedora 12 and it wrapped my e-book data into 86_64 file extentions.....didn't see it. Then I became frustrated with Fedora and installed the 32-bit Ubuntu 9.10. I have been unsuccessful with retrieving the data on the e-book. And now it has added extentions of .img and .old. How can I retrieve my data? It has all of my pictures and music and passwords! Please help.

im not sure i understand completely what situation, exactly, you are in... :\

You could try mounting the .img and see what in it but I have a feeling the damn things are encrypted!
