cairo dock in ubuntu 9.10

i've just installed cario dock on my system it shows up only when i launch it from the applications-system tools & the two task bars still remain & when i restart my comp it just goes back to how it was before without the dock & clock
have i done something wrong or missed something?

Have you told cairo dock to autostart?You can right click
on the dock and there is a option to add to the start up.

i can only get wifi in the config i dont have wifi i just wondered if there was a way to put the whole bit on the dock at the bottom so i can connect to mobile broadband from there
