Finch is really cool. It has even sounds too ;) Like pidgin, lot of possible configurations ;)

it is pure graphics and you can watch movie with fbdev (kernel)

it isnt in the repositories, directfb. I never managed to get it work unless we compile it manually into the kernel. to get mplayer running ni console tty1
