Hi,
I installed Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop Edition (64 bit) through a live CD. I used wubi which came along with the CD to install Ubuntu. The current OS on my laptop (Acer Aspire 5738 model). After installation i have a dual boot option one for windows the other for Ubuntu. When i select ubuntu the OS tries to initialize and then i get a ghost screen. See image attached. It looks like some graphics issue.The laptop comes with Intel GMA 4500 MHD. Can some please help me out in getting a visible screen after i boot into the Ubuntu OS.
Please also let me know if you need any other information.
