Hi, I'm having loads of problems trying to run a ubuntu and xp dual boot computer. First I install xp then ubuntu 9.04 because 9.10 isn't working and is more problematic for me. I tried a few times installing it and each time I get error 18 when loading grub. Is there anyway to fix this? I've seen a few solutions involving an extra boot partition. My computer is very old and I'd rather use ubuntu than xp but xp is more compatible with more programs. Can anyone help me?
