Update managers irritating behaviour how to close it

Every time run aptitude install <package name>
the update manager pops out and shows me to upgrade my distribution and packages etc
how can I turn off this behaviour of update manager.

If you don´t want to see new release available (or something similar) go to the system<admin>software sources>updates>at the bottom of the page you will see upgrada to release ans selece never.On other hand I think it will be smart to get packages updates because they are of security nature most of the time.
