Problems with distro servers?

Hi all -

I'm trying to do an apt-get update and I keep getting timeouts on security.ubuntu.com. Does anyone know if there are server problems right now?

I'm getting the same at the moment too when trying to do an update.

security.ubuntu.com seems to be down for me

I am also having trouble try to upgrade to 9.10. Times out fetching file 29 of 33. I believe it is the same issue. Eventually drops to a message stating that there was an error during update, "The server may be overloaded"

Me, too. Big problems with security.ubuntu.com It's messing with my schedule tonight. I should have finished hours ago.
