Hi all.
Hoping that you all are having a nice weekend!
I hope I am posting in the right forum. I already searched and found nothing on this.
I installed ubuntu server 8.04 on a new machine recently. I am running a production system that we use internally. Now I have to make a backup machine in case the production machine goes down.
I am using apache/tomcat/mysql
What is the best way to go about it?
One option I can think is:
make daily backup/restore of all 3 using a cron job to the backup machine.
Is there another better way?
Thanks for your help.
Cheers
