Hi,
Installed Ubuntu onto my Dell Inspiron desktop last Monday from the wubi download (previously running Vista only).
Ubuntu was running fine - until this morning! Last night I installed 107(!) files from Update Manager then shut down. This morning the PC boots OK into Vista but when trying to boot to ubuntu I get this message:
[Linux-bzImage, setup=0x3400, size=0x3bef40]
[Initrd, addr=0x3782d000, size=0x7c2357]
[ 1.451500] Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block (8,3)
Any help greatly appreciated...I'd really like to get away from Vista!
Stan
