This is not the 'missing icons in system menu' problem.

When I first upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10 my gnome-bars were missing some icons. I thought that the directories had changed for them, but the icons were also missing from the menus. I was able to fix the problem by rebooting (perhaps the icon paths weren't set dynamically?) and re-creating my gnome bars.

However some applications still have missing icons. The most noticeable is the Add/Remove tool (which kicks software centre's behind).

By memory the Add-Remove application's own icon should have been there.

Some other applications suffer the same problem, which leads me to think a package containing some of the icons is missing or a directory/configuration file has been changed.

Has anyone else had a similar problem or knows what I need to fix? This problem isn't life-threatening but it would be nice to have a graphically unbroken system.
