Problems with new "Upgrade" from 9.04 to present use of 9.10; but only with restore settings (Evolution).
Had to create another partition leaving the 9.04 files in the 1st, but inable to access via Grub, because of the GDM problems encountered with first attempted upgrade. i.e. Grub hangs up and will not continue on to the "Login Screen".
Seems that .evolution.backup.tar.gz (9.04) can't be copied on the the desk-top (wherever); so that Evolution can "restore" it into the 9.10 version. Have run a search for "Backup", thus locating the file in /usr/lib/....?
Can some one point me in the right direction? Email accumulation is over eight years, addresses well most inconvenient to have lost them. TIA
