I am installing Ubuntu Server Edition 9.10 32bit Version.

When it gets to the Install the base system step ait gets 76% through and then pops up another window stating the following:

Please insert the disc labeled: 'Ubuntu-Server 9.10 _Karmic Koala_ - Release i386 (20091027.2)' in the drive '/cdrom/' and press enter.

Any idea how I can get this CD? I have reburned and redownloaded this file 4 times and it always does this.

Please help, thanks!

md5 check your iso image you are burning from AND your burnt cd (burn at 4X speed, by the way)

Cleaning the optical drive never goes amiss when you're going to burn an iso image, also.

Phill.

Thanks, will try and post back.

For me the only way was to change my Cdrom.
Ata to ata... just change it from a another computer and it works.
at the end ...
