I'm just curious if there's a way I can customize my KDE machine to have 2 panels and customize them like Gnome. I started this process but I'm not sure why but the top panel I added is -huge- and I can't figure out how to downsize it. Meanwhile I figured I'd ask if it's even possible to customize it in that manner.

I thought the whole point of Kubuntu was to look different from Ubuntu. Maybe you should just switch distros.

That may be the point, but I'd like to add a panel at the top which has system monitor spanning across the entire top so I can see proc activity, network, etc.
So, any takers?

Assuming you're KDE4, right-click the panel and select "properties" to make adjustments to location and size. Also on the right-click menu is "add to panel", which allows you to put what ever items on that toolbar you'd like.
