I just have installed for my EeePC 1000 a new SD card with Ubuntu 9.10.
Installation went well, but booting needs to get a fix:
After I turn on the laptop I get (always counted from turn on the machine) at 4 seconds the Bios screen, at 19 seconds the message "Grub loading." appears. At 80 (!!!) seconds the Grub menu. I hit at 89 second enter to boot the first selection. At 110 seconds it starts finally to "accept" the menu selection and at 137 second I got the login screen.
What is wrong ?
