Dual Boot With Raid 0

Hello there , i need some help for dual booting windows 7 with Ubuntu or maybe Linux mint , i have a total of 1TB hard drive 2/500GB and i have windows 7 with raid 0 installed on it , what would be a easiest way to install Linux on this machine without going trough too much trouble? i'm not really good with working with linux , i had ubuntu before but i has been a while ... so any help would be greatly appreciated ...
