9.04 and Open Office, Firefox

I know for a fact that you can install Firefox 3.5 in 9.04 - although it will not show up as Firefox, it shows up as its code name "Shiretoko" under Internet.

I was wondering why it is not pushed to 9.04 users in the usual update method.

How did you install the new Firefox version?

I installed with Synaptic, it will update but as Shiretoko. You could install a download manually. I'm using Shiretoko on a Jaunty install and FF 3.5 on Karmic - don't see any difference.
