Shipit CDs

I have a good broadband connection and I have been downloading ubuntu since 8.10

but i'm a regular user of ubuntu now, can i still get a CD shipped to me? i know its not ethical (after all cannonical's resources are limited and it needs to reach out to new users), but i do love a pressed/printed CD!

As far as i know. You can order a shipit cd. But so that you feel good about it remember to share it with everyone as the is the philosphy of ubunut. You can also gift to others, people like a pressed cd as a gift more than a copied cd.

I feel kind of bad when ordering free cd's when I have a 100Mbit up/down fiber to the home connection :p

Get yourself a disc, and make a donation (http://www.ubuntu.com/community/donations). Better yet, buy from the Ubuntu store (https://usshop.ubuntu.com/category.php?catid=3). Moral dilemma solved.

9.10 sells in packs of five for $10. For those who really want a proper disc, it seems like a small sacrifice.

some people from my family have burn their computers because they think it are devices from hell and are posessed with evil spirits:D

I think I'll send them some cd's
see if they can banish the ubuntu spirit :twisted:
