Guys,
I'm trying to set up a simple server for my small business and I've managed to scrape together some parts to do so. I'm gonna share my parts here real quick since it may (or most likely I suspect) be the source of my troubles.
AMD 64 bit Opteron 175
4GB Keil DDR2 800 RAM
Abit AN8Fatalty1 Socket 939 MB with NVRAID chipset
4 WD Caviar Blue HD hooked to the MB via SATA.
To make a long story short I pop in the Ubunutu 9.10 server disk, and see the initial screen. I choose "Install Ubuntu Server" and then the screen goes black with a blinking cursor. Nothing happens after that. Anybody have any ideas?
