Mouse Cursor Issue after upgrade to 9.10

Hi,

I have an issue with a lenovo infrared mouse after upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10.

The issue i have is that after the upgrade the Mouse cursor is in the top left corner of the screen.

If i move cursor it just jumps back to the top left hand corner of the screen.

Looks like some kind of software bug.

Any help appreciated.
