i broke update manager, how to fix it?

okay, so i was following some website trying to install some aircrack thing in and i changed the source list file and went to update manager to intall the stuff, but it didnt work and then update manager wouldnt work any more so i removed it and when i try install it again it wont let me

using 9.10 karmic
help, sorry im a not good at this

select:
applications/add-remove

show all available applications

search for "update manager"

select the one with 5 stars

apply changes

hope that fixed it :)

(i wouldnt be messing around with aircrack unless you really know what your doing...)
