Xubuntu 9.10 + compiz - no auto start

I am pretty new to ubuntu and I have been doing alot of searching on how I can make compiz start automatically. I am yet to find a working solution, and a method written for 9.10. Has something changed since the previous version?

Sorry if I haven't provided all required information.
