Hm, since yesterday my file manager (nautilus) thinks that all my files are executables. I can still open the files in the appropriate applications, but only with the "open with.." option. default is invariably "execute".
I tried to fix it like the bug about a month ago (all files appeared as text files https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shared-mime-info/+bug/444962 (http://https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shared-mime-info/+bug/444962) ), but it didn't help much.
Has anyone got a fix for that?
I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 32 bit on a Core2Duo Lenovo Thinkpad SL 500.
Thank you very much in adance,
Christian
