Hi,
I've just installed Ubuntu 9.10 and discovered the new "envelope" icon in the top right of the screen, next to the clock. Clicking this icon lets me launch Empathy or Evolution.
Is it possible to program Evolution to check for e-mail even when the Evolution user interface is closed, and use this top-right icon as a notifier, similar to the (buggy) GMail Notifier software which does just that?
