I am running kubutu 9.10 with the default oxygen desktop theme. I actually moved my main panel to the bottom of the screen. I am still left with a tiny panel on the top right corner of my screen that I am unable to get rid of.

Right clicking it does not give any "Panel Options". Instead it gives me options like - run command, add widgets, add panel, lock screen, leave and desktop settings..

Left clicking it mimizes all the windows and gives options like add widgets, desktop settings, lock widgets, shortcut and zoom out. I can achieve all these by just right clicking the desktop.

Can someone help me please remove this tiny panel.

That's not a panel. I don't know how it is called, but I guess it can't be removed, since it provides access to plasma desktop configuration and functionalities.

Thanks lovinglinux for your reply. Yeah, after playing around for quite a bit, I figured it just can not be removed. The funny thing is that the same options are available by just right clicking on the empty desktop.
