I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 on an older Dell laptop. When I get online, I'm told that I have updates to load. When I try, the update manager I get a message titled "Changes applied" with a message that says "Not all changes and updates succeeded. For further details of the failure, please expand the 'terminal' panel below."
The terminal panel displays the following:
Extracting templates from packages: 100%
Reconfiguring packages ...
dpkg: parse error, in file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 206 package 'language-pack-gnome-ka':
field name 'Priority2' must be followed by colon
What should I do?
