Any thoughts on upgrading to 9.1 from 9.04?

I was noticing during my usual update that there's a 9.1 upgrade button.

I see that the forum has instructions here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1305158 and here http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/upgrading

Now - is there sufficient need to upgrade from 9.04 to 9.1?

If I do this, will my apps break?

Any real-world experiences?

The most important thing: make sure all 9.04 updates are complete first. After starting Update Manager, run it (check button) again. In my case, it went very well; I'm very happy with it. All apps are running fine.

Okay, I'm finally on 9.1 this afternoon.

Funny thing is, my mother "accidentally" upgraded a few weeks back. I'd taught her how to do the standard updates. The other day, we're at her place for dinner and she mentions how the last update took forever and involved a few reboots.

Oh, and her favorite Klondike game had a new look.

I sent my nine-year-old off to check her system and - sure enough - she had upgraded to 9.1 from 9.04.
