I accidentally deleted the top panel (with the menu bar, the time/date, wireless indicator, logout options etc.) I created a new panel and have added to it but just can't get it back to the way it was. Is there a way to bring the default top panel back?

Not really, but you should be able to get it back to how it was. What are you having trouble restoring?

Acually I think I'm ok. I was looking for volume indicator power/ac adapter indicator and the wireless indicator but didn't realize they were all grouped as the notification area.

It's cool to be able to play around with the panel, but:

1. There should be a notification/confirmation box before removing something.
2. There should be a "Default" setting that you can easily go back to.

Well, it is difficult to remove your last panel without a confirmation of what you are doing.

There should be a "Default" setting that you can easily go back to.

Won't argue about that. Although it isn't hard to get back to the default.

I was talking about the launchers in the panels.
I'm still a newbie, and it's not easy to get launchers back to the panel in UNR.
