I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala to try out this Linux thing and see what all the fuss is about ;-)
OK I admit it, Linux seems a better system than Windows (for most things anyway). In this spirit I am making Ubuntu my default system and attempting to move most things across to that system. But...
I am running out of space!. Linux has set itself up with only a few Gb of space. I have installed GParted ok. It seems I must unmount a partition before I can move it (hopefully without losing any data). The empty space however is on a partiton that is locked and cannot be unmounted. Has anyone got any ideas how to proceed?
