View Full Version : [SOLVED] Unable to install software.

I have just installed Ubuntu 9.10 and when I try to install any software I get a message which begins "E: I wasn't able to locate files for" Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Did you enable software in System/Administration/Software Sources/Ubuntu Software and the /Other Software tab in Sources?

What Server are you trying to get software from within Ubuntu? That choice is in the Ubuntu Software part of the Sources menu.
