View Full Version : [ubuntu] 9.10 updates wont install problem.

Hey guys, i cannot get updates for my ubuntu 9.10. I only just recently updated from ubuntu 9.04, and im starting to regret my decision.
Plus i cant download from synaptic and software center all because of a similar problem.
Need help fast. im desperate. lol
This is the error i received when trying to install updates.

Click on "settings". Then click "Other software". I fixed this by deselecting each one, and then one by one checked them, checking for updates after I checked every box, until I hit one that was casusing the trouble. I don't know if this will help, but it did for me.

Same problem here, started happening some time in the last few days, had been working fine previously. I'm also using the nz server, the main one seems to work, but would like to be able to use the nz one as it is much faster/cheaper....
