Compiz and Xubuntu

I enabled Compiz, but the wobbly windows won't work and the advanced effects options are not there.

Did you download ccsm from synaptic ? Also try fusion-icon, from synaptic too, to switch desktop managers. Access ccsm from - system/preferences/CompizConfig Settings Manager.

I installed all that but they still do not work. I know my computer supports it as I used it before, but not with Xubuntu.

It all installed. And I know that wobbly windows must work for me, because I had ubuntu installed on my book, and wobbly windows works.
