DSL Connection

Hi,

I have installed 9.10 version and had no problem. But when I tried to setup my net connection through DSL connection, I am not able to connect from Ubuntu. But I am able connect from windows with the same DSL user name and password. I am getting an error network connection failed. I am only a beginner user and not in a position how to fix my DSL setup. Please help me out. Thanks.

Hi,

I used sudo pppoeconf and it resolved my problem. Since I am a newbie can anyone pls shed some light on what was wrong initially in nm-applet which was correct pppoeconf... just curious to know.. thanks......
