Currently i'm having only one drive for Ubuntu , as per better performance data , I heard that /home and /root drives are to be made during installation , I havent done this before.
If I'm upgrading from Ubuntu 9.04 to Ubuntu 9.10 through CD , normally my home would get formatted too , but if i made /home partition before , will I able to retrieve my same /home at 9.10 .. ?
Plz explain for /root too , coz I couldnt figure why this used ?
