Ubuntu 9.10 and VMWare 7

Anyone know Ubuntu 9.10 desktop effects work under VMWare 7?

Hmm, ubuntu is the guest or the host? i suppose that ubuntu is a virtual machine inside VMware.. Well, if ubuntu is the guest[the virtual machine], you need a graphic accelerator to enable that, and as we know, the guest cannot recognize the pci card of the host [pc that run the Vm].. if ubuntu is the host, you need your graphic card configured as well..

I know that VM7 is touting how you can run Aero in a virt environment ( and it works fine) but unfortunately they havent focused on the Linux Desktop just yet...
