Hi,
when I try to install the latest version on ubuntu 9.10 I get this massage on the command prompt
Select the directory in which to save the unpacked files. [/var/tmp/unpack_staroffice]

Why not use Open Office, which is a derivative of Star Office?

While Open Office (OO) was based on Star Office (SO) originally, SO 6 and later are based on OO. SO 9 is based of a snapshot of OO 3.0.

The point stands though LOL.

Does anybody of you have a nice script to install Star Office 9 on Ubuntu 10.04? :D
