Hey guys,
I'm new to Linux and i need some help. I've installed the latest version of Ubuntu (9.10) and i can't configure my internet connection. I connect to to my local network, but i can't connect to the internet. My internet provider uses a 'dialer' with which i connect to the internet. On windows, it's just a small exe program, and when i run it, it connects to the internet. There's a version of this dialer for Linux, but i don't know how to install it. I download the file dialer_cli ( in the description it says that's it's a console client, but i don't know what's that... ). The file has no extension whatsoever. I try to run it, by doubleclicking it, but it asks me to choose a program to run it with.
I've attached the file to this post, if someone could help me i'd really appreciate it :)
