Hi,
Recently (about a month ago) I decided to upgrade to Karmic Koala. After the installation finished, I restarted my computer but Ubuntu wouldn't boot anymore. I always get the following error message:
Begin: Waiting for root filesystem.
Done.
Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
- Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
- Check root= (did the system wait for the right device?)
- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
ALERT! /dev/disk/by-uuid/6e52aaf9-65c1-4825-88e8-17a965f05b34 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!Any ideas? If there's anything else you'd like to know, please let me know.
Thanks for reading,
