Does anyone know how to make all windows fullscreen and disable the re-size option?

In a lot of applications you can hit F11 and it will go fullscreen.

You can install maximus - it's what Ubuntu Netbook Remix uses. (it'll be in the repos.)

it places the window control buttons in the panel when a window is maximized. it sounds crazy, but it's pretty cool.
