Would it be possible to install Ubuntu/Linux on my iPod? or more specifically, my iPod's harddrive. Obviously I don't expect it to actually run with just the iPod. I mean on the iPod, plugged into a host, like my laptop or desktop. Would it boot if my machine supported booting from USB? I don't expect it to serve as a music player at the same time. Am I at risk of bricking it? If it is possible, would this be reversible?
