huh?

Check out the sticky on the top of this forum- http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=11

Every month there's a screenshot thread for people to show off their desktops. Now, why it's in the Community Cafe and not the DE forum, I don't know... Seems like it'd be better here.

Because the DE forum is only for support and the community café is for discussions and non-support related stuff.

And this is my current one:

Note that it isn't a reinstall, I just like the orininal Desktop in Karmic better than the previous ones.

Wow, there are some really nice desktops in this thread! Enlightened, what a gorgeous dog. Is s/he yours?

Here's my desktop. As you can see I'm a minimalist when it comes to clutter! No icons on the desktop for me, thank you very much. :) I have my wallpaper set to rotate several pictures of Big Sur but I'm just posting one shot. Also, that's the 'picture frame' widget in the corner, which also changes its pictures periodically.

Yeah, gkrellm looks really bad in there, but I have yet to find any KDE friendly app that can do the same. Plasmoids don't cut it and conky is a pain.

You guys really go to town on your desktops. I download a few extra themes and switch from time to time. I'm much more exciting away from my computer. Using default Balanzan theme right now
