Hi,
My PC froze, and to date I've only been able to get the bios screen to show. It allows me to choose either:
DEL: Enter Setup, or F12: Change boot order.
Pressing either of these keys does nothing.
I can hear the CD drive working (with new, pretested Ubuntu 9.1 CD inserted), and the hard drive. Yet nothing else happens.
Even without the CD inserted, I get the bios screen, but nothing more.
I've unplugged the hard drive, and it still goes to bios with the above options, but does nothing else!
I used to have XP installed first, then removed it when I installed Ubuntu. I used VirtualBox to reinstall XP, then it crashed, leading to this prob.
Any solutions would be much appreciated!
PS: I thought to buy a new hard drive thinking that might be the prob, but don't want to spend money if it isn't.
Please help!!
