I think it must be possible to start a python-program (e.g. foo.py) by clicking on the icon in Nautilus.
By default however the editor is called which reads and displays the script, but does not start the program. When I choose "python" instead of "gedit" to open *.py programs - nothing happens when clickin (or double-clicking).
Calling "python foo.py" in a terminal window works of course.

Is it not possible to start python-programs in Nautilus or is there something I overlooked?
Thanks for any suggestions!
