I'm looking for the Google of image hosts. That is, interface with almost nothing on it, and it's fast, affordable, and free. I heard VuloMedia was like this before it went belly-up. Anyone else have a good substitute?

(Not tinypic, please.)

(Not tinypic, please.)I have been looking for years and have found nothing yet to date for free;

imageshack, Picasa, Flicker all fall short.

Multiply is decent it has a free version but also has an upgradeable version, but still not perfect.

Check out these guys, I used to use them all the time because it's no frills and super fast.

Not very good to be honest, tinypic even is faster to upload and it doesn't make you have a watermark.

Hi 23dornot23d,

Do you see the edit button on your post? It looks like this: http://ubuntuforums.org/images/buttons/edit.gif
It's generally common courteous for you to use that instead of double posting the same thing with a little edit. :)

I looked at the sites in your blog and none of them fit my criteria.

Imageshack for quick uploads, photobucket for everything else.

I've been uploading photos occasionally on photobucket for 2 years, and I'm still not close to filling up my free space.

Picasa is good too.

Imgur.com > *

I don't think anyone likes Imageshack's gross overuse of banner and popup ads.

IS is nice until you try and directly embed an image on a message board and suddenly it goes Yellow Frog on you.
