Hi eveyone,
I'm a victim of the atrocities of 9.10 Karmic. I now want (and have, actually) to do a fresh install and I don't want to go back to karmic until it stabilizes a bit first.
The thing is that now I'm using my office computer that has XP and I wanto to download and burn the Jaunty image to a CD to do the fresh install on my laptop ( A DELL 1525 BTW). When I download from the Ubuntu webpage I download a .rar file with lots of folders and strange files. I open Infrarecorder and don't know where the heck is the Image.
I know this may sound rdicoulous. I was able to burn the image when I first installed Ubuntu 9.04 a few months ago, but know I don't know what to do. I thought it would be one ISO file, but there's a bunch of folders in the .rar file...
Could someone provide a link to a direct ISO image download or provide instructions on how to find the iso image in the .iso.rar file?
Thanks in advanced
