EeePC 1000H, dual boot with Windows XP (because of client work). On the Linux side it's running 9.04 netbook version now, and I've downloaded an ISO of the 9.10 netbook remix. I started to install it last night, but when the disk partition section came up, I was baffled by all the prior versions on there: two different installs of 9.04 (one probably not netbook remix), and various other things I didn't recognize. There was room to install 9.10 NBR, but it seems to me that I ought also to be able to get rid of some of the earlier versions to give myself more room.
The installation instructions don't cover that, however. So how would I go about:
Figuring out which prior versions I can dispose of
Disposing of those chosen for being tossed
