Hi all,

Would it be possible to install Ubuntu one on Debian? What's the easiest way to do so? Thanks!!!

The client end software is written in python, and there's nothing keeping you from using it on Debian.

So no

Is there a way to sync a windows box via Ubuntu One ala dropbox? or would drop box be the best alternative to keep files in sync between a work Karmic box and Win 7 box? tks

If someone ports the clinet software to MS Windows you should be able to sync with Ubuntu One. The source for the client is free.

I was starting to look into Ubuntu One for Debian and it led me to Dropbox. Same 2 GB for free, pay if you need more. It's not open source but it works great and it's cross platform.
