I can no longer make fun of people who mistake The Onion as a credible source of news. I stumbled this and didn't notice and almost went on a rant about how stupid people can be. #-o
If I had read the entire thing I probably would have figured it out sooner. :(

I think the title effeminate violence should have clued you, then the limp wristed attack, should been all you need to recognize the bias and vagaries of these descriptions.

We have to be careful not to buy into stereotyping and accepted social norms that are BS. ;)

heh, it's not actually that different to the genuine articles though! xD

One pet peeve of mine is this obsession with the silly Wii wrist straps and rubber sleeves for the remotes... I mean it might make sense when you're 6 but...

I don't read the Onion regularly and people sue over stupid crap all the time so this article didn't seem to unusual until I got to this part: "While no scientific link has ever been established, a report to be released by PAW later this month indicates an alarming correlation between Wii's growing popularity and a shocking 200-percent increase in wuss-on-wuss violence. In addition, the group documented 634 incidents of fussy skirmishes, all of which ended in tears."
That gave it away big time.
